Cockpit offers a powerfull plugin system called Controls, which gives you the power to control just anything you want. Start tasks or scripts, launch applications, and much much more. Your creativity sets the limits.

Because building Controls is super easy, everyone can build them without any special knowledge.

You can even export them, and share them with other users at our Controls center or download Controls to use them in your Cockpit.

Global Hotkeys
Sometimes it is even faster to have a hotkey to control apps and tasks. Cockpit can be controlled with custom and system wide hotkeys. Setting a hotkey is just easy as the rest. Nice overlays tell you which app the actual pressed hotkey belongs to and does.
